Schiff Encourages Troops Affected by Stop Loss to Apply for Retroactive Pay Before Oct. 21 Deadline

Washington, D.C. - Today, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) encouraged veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to submit claims for retroactive "stop loss" pay before the October 21, 2010 deadline. Troops who are eligible for retroactive pay will receive $500 a month for each month their service was extended, averaging $3,800.
