PHOTOS: Rep. Schiff Joins Federal, State, Local Elected Officials for Tour of Rancho Palos Verdes & Rolling Hills Land Movements
Washington, D.C.— In case you missed it, yesterday Congressman Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Congressman Ted Lieu (D-Calif.) toured neighborhoods affected by recent land movements that damaged homes and infrastructure in the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
The pair was joined by State Senator Ben Allen, State Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi, Rancho Verdes Councilmembers Paul Seo and Dave Bradley, Rolling Hills Mayor Pro Tem Jeff Peiper and Councilmember Patrick Wilson, as well as representatives from the offices of Senator Laphonza Butler and Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn.
Earlier this week, Schiff joined Lieu, Padilla, and Butler in a letter urging the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to identify any assistance and funding that can be made available to the cities and residents impacted by land movement on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
