Thursday, July 07, 2005 Contact: Sean Oblack (202) 225-4176 Schiff Statement on Terrorist Attacks in London WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) made the following statement on the terrorist attacks in London: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Britain as they recover from this morning's cowardly attacks. America has no greater friend or ally and we stand shoulder to shoulder with the British people today, and every day. "It is plain that the scourge of terrorism will be with us for a long time. There is no reasoning with those who would deliberately kill innocent men, women and children. There can be no capitulation.
