Schiff to Host Congressional Science Forum

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Adam Schiff will host a Congressional Science Forum in conjunction with California Institute of Technology (Caltech).  The forum will feature astronomer Dr. Michelle Thaller who will discuss findings from the new Spitzer Space Telescope.  The Spitzer Space Telescope was launched by a Delta rocket from Cape Canaveral, Florida on 25 August 2003.

This is the 5th Science Forum hosted by Rep. Schiff and Caltech.  The forum is open to interested students and educators.  For additional information, please contact our district office at (626) 304-2727.

Congressman Schiff is the co-founder of the Democratic Study Group on National Security and a member of both the House Judiciary and International Relations committees.  He represents California’s 29th Congressional District, which includes the communities of Alhambra, Altadena, Burbank, East Pasadena, East San Gabriel, Glendale, Monterey Park, Pasadena, San Gabriel, South Pasadena and Temple City.
