WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) is sponsoring a free Homeownership Fair in cooperation with the City of Glendale this Saturday for potential first-time and current homebuyers:

“Many Southern Californians are facing difficult challenges with soaring home prices,” Congressman Schiff said. “I am hopeful that many will take advantage of this Fair to learn how to navigate the process to get the home they want.”
The fair will feature experts and information booths to answer common questions such as how to qualify for a loan, how to refinance, what price home is affordable, how a credit report affects one’s ability to buy and how to fix up a newly purchased home.
Admission is free of charge and will include break-out sessions on “First Time Homeownership,” “Credit Issues” and “Real Estate 101.” To obtain more information about the fair, constituents can call Congressman Schiff’s office at (626) 304-2727.
