Will Honor Glendale Battalion Returning from Overseas
WASHINGTON, DC – Having returned in March from more than a year of active military duty in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo, dozens of soldiers from a Glendale-based Army Guard company will be welcomed home on the shores of the United States by local Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Charlie Company of Glendale is part of the 223rd Military Intelligence Battalion, which is being honored in San Francisco by Schiff and other dignitaries, celebrating the soldiers’ courage, patriotism and devotion to the causes of freedom and liberty.
