February 10, 2002 -- Congressman Schiff addresses the congregation at the Pasadena Church of God. To mark Black History Month in February, Congressman Schiff donated his teaching salary from Glendale Community College to the youth programs at the church. At right are Jacqueline Cushman and her husband, Dr. M. Tyrone Cushman, who served for 22 years as pastor at the church before being elevated to first General Overseer of the National Association of the Church of God in Middlesex, Pennsylvania, where he is responsible for more than 400 churches in the United States, Caribbean, and Africa.
