Tour Requests
Congressman Schiff's office is pleased to assist constituents in setting up tours of the U.S. Capitol, and other Washington, D.C. sites.
In addition, you can request an information packet from Congressman Schiff’s Washington office which includes public tour information, maps and brochures about the Washington area.
White House Tickets
Unfortunately, the White House has limited its tours since 2001. The White House requests that each Congressional office submit a request for a tour, and begins accepting requests 6 months in advance. The availability of tours is limited and space typically fills up three months in advance. March through September is the busiest season for White House requests. Tours are selected by the White House Visitors Office by lottery from the 535 Congressional offices.
We will make every attempt to secure a White House tour for you, but due to their limited tour schedule, it may not be possible. The White House Visitor Center and Museum Shop is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, however, and is located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.
